I have lived in the Haliburton Highlands for twenty years and began working at the Haliburton-Bancroft midwifery office in the summer of 2011. How time flies! It's been an absolute pleasure to be a part of this organization and to assist the midwives in their day-to-day responsibilities. The very detailed, hands-on care our midwives provide expecting moms and their partners with is wonderful to behold. Having experienced midwives deliver my own two children in the Hamilton area, I was very excited to join this practice. I can personally attest to the sacrificial nature of midwifery work and the professionalism and expertise the midwives impart to moms both pre and post natal.

I consider myself very blessed to work with the midwife team and I delight in meeting and speaking to each client daily. It's been super cool to see all the babies that our midwives have had a hand in bringing into the world, and to learn of the names each infant is given.
