Went the extra mile

I knew when I was hoping to have a VBAC, midwives would be my best option for reaching that goal. Not only did this team of wonderful, warm, kind people deliver two beautiful babies, but they were available to us 24/7 for every single hurdle along the way.

We delivered in hospital and the care was seamless and personal, and our choices were always respected.

I also must mention that I more than likely owe my still being here to the active role they played in helping identify and find treatment for postpartum depression.

The extra mile was most certainly travelled in order to help in my road to recovery, as well as identifying my underlying mental health needs. I am most certainly living a much happier life because of those initiating actions that were taken. Words cannot express how grateful I am towards this team.

I will always highly recommend the Haliburton team of midwives as the absolute BEST care for pregnant women and their families.
